The Venue
BaneGaarden
What is BaneGaarden?
The celebration will be held at BaneGaarden — a hidden green oasis between Sydhavn and Vesterbro, surrounded by wild nature, historic wooden barns, and incredible food.
Our ceremony will take place in a beautiful 100-year-old greenhouse, once part of Copenhagen's Botanical Garden and lovingly saved from demolition.
Originally built in 1909 by DSB to store materials for the railways, the barns stood abandoned for decades while nature slowly reclaimed the area. Today, they have been carefully restored using sustainable principles like reuse, natural materials, and traditional craftsmanship, creating a unique gathering place full of warmth, history, and greenery.
